About David deSilva

I am a professor of New Testament and Greek at Ashland Theological Seminary (Ashland, Ohio), organist and music director at Christ United Methodist Church (also in Ashland), and an ordained elder in the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church.  I am married to Donna Jean deSilva, my wife of twenty-four years, with whom I share three sons.  I am an avid student of the Apocrypha/Deuterocanonical Books, some of the major Pseudepigrapha, the Letter to the Hebrews, the General Epistles, and Revelation.  I have been venturing, however, into Pauline studies (with a book on Galatians and a few more in the works) and Historical Jesus studies.  You can learn more about Ashland Theological Seminary here: seminary.ashland.edu.
